New UK & Ireland appointment at Edrington Group

André de Almeida has been appointed to the role of Area Director for Americas Duty Free and UK & Ireland at the Edrington Group which owns The Macallan and The Famous Grouse brands.

The appointment follows a reshuffle internally and André’s now based at the company headquarters in Perth, Scotland.

Responsible for developing the company’s portfolio in duty-free markets across North, Central and Latin America as well as in the UK and Ireland domestic markets, André joined Edrington last July in a commercial development role after working for nearly six years with Beam Global Spirits & Wine, Maxxium UK.
