Grants establishes global marketing office in Dublin for non-Scotch brands

William Grant & Sons established a global marketing office in Dublin recently to manage the marketing operations for its non-Scotch brands including newly-acquired Tullamore Dew, Sailor Jerry and Hendrick’s Gin.

William Grant & Sons established a global marketing office in Dublin recently to manage the marketing operations for its non-Scotch brands including newly-acquired Tullamore Dew, Sailor Jerry and Hendrick’s Gin. The 17 professionals in the new office are working alongside the company’s existing global marketing office in Richmond, London and the Dublin office is also leading the Group’s global planning and innovation function.
Grant’s global marketing office in the UK continues to manage the company’s Scotch whisky brands Glenfiddich, The Balvenie and Grant’s.
Both offices will be overseen by Group Marketing Director Maurice Doyle, a native of Bray, County Wicklow.
A key focus of the marketing activities centres on the development of the Tullamore Dew brand, the Group’s sixth core brand, bought in July’s €300 million acquisition of C&C’s portfolio of Irish spirits and liqueur brands.
This move greatly strengthens William Grant & Sons’ presence in Ireland and a number of agencies were recently invited to pitch for an international TV, print and outdoor advertising campaign for Tullamore Dew (being managed from Dublin).
“The establishment of a global marketing office in Dublin underlines our strong commitment to Ireland and the rapid progress we have made since first establishing ourselves here earlier this year,”  commented Stella David, Chief Executive of William Grant & Sons.
Tullamore Dew, the world’s second-largest Irish whiskey brand, sells over 600,000 cases.
Hendrick’s is the world’s fastest-growing super premium gin with key markets in the US, UK and Spain, while

is part of a fast-growing brand franchise inspired by tattoo artist Norman ‘Sailor Jerry’ Collins.
