Bottled beer festival in aid of Focus Ireland
Deveney’s of Dundrum hosted the first ever Bottled Beer Festival in Ireland at the Beer Hall in the Bull and Castle, Christchurch on 2 February.
It was a ticket only event in aid of Focus Ireland and was a “resounding success” according to organiser Ruth Deveney.
There were 100 premium bottled beers from around the world to sample, coupled with expert advice from the best beer importers and brewers.
Deveney’s of Dundrum is a family run business for the last three generations. They remain at the forefront of the Off-Licence trade winning coveted specialists awards in ’07, ’08, ’09 and ’10.
Demand created by the success of Deveney’s beer blog and the monthly beer club was the impetus for Deveney’s of Dundrum, The Beer Festival.
Deveney’s of Dundrum will be hosting similar festivals in the near future.
