Wines from Spain deliver results

The Wines from Spain / St James’ Way promotion held this Summer in partnership with NOffLA was a big success. Over 90 NOffLA members participated in this exciting wine adventure. Customers of participating wines stores had the opportunity to learn and enjoy the wines in the Camino from Navarra and Rioja to Rías Baixas during June and July. It was a very exciting way to learn and enjoy this historical and tourist destination in Spain from home.

The Embassy of Spain and NOffLA are delighted to announce the winners. The display competition winner, Hollands of Bray, will take part in an educational wine trip to Santiago and DO Rías Baixas in September. The highlights of the trip will be Santiago, as well as some of the most interesting white wines in Spain: Albariño. Kittie O’Dea from Shrule, Co Mayo was the winner of the long weekend trip to Santiago. Thanks to all the participants for showing one of the most extraordinary routes in Europe since the Middle Ages and its wines in your stores.
