Telfer turnover up 4%

Turnover at Telfer, the company behind Hogans pub, L’Gueleton restaurant and the No Name bar as well as nearby Kelly’s Hotel in South Great George’s Street in Dublin, was up 4% to €7.88 million in the year to the 31st May 2016 from €7.58 million the previous year.

 

Despite a 2.5% fall in Operating Profits from €1.22 million to €1.19 million at the company where publican Declan O’Regan is one of three directors, pre-tax profits level-pegged at €973,151 giving the company a €20,000 boost in profits overall to €821,096.

During the year the company’s staffing costs rose 8.3% from €2.29 million to €2.48 million including unchanging directors’ emoluments costS of €104,000.

The operation employs 87 sales staff (up six) and 11 in management.
