Pub, hotel and golf club closed by EHOs

A pub, a hotel and a golf & country club featured among the 13 Enforcement Orders served on food businesses last month for breaches of food safety legislation.

The shop deli and all food preparation areas in connection with Hairy Neds Pub & Shop in Crosskeys, Cavan, were subject to a Closure Order served under the EC (Official Control of Foodstuffs) Regulations 2010.

In Athlone Road, Roscommon, the kitchen area and all food service at Hannons Oakwood Hotel were subject to a Closure Order served under the FSAI Act 1998 as were the restaurant and associated kitchen facilities within the Fernhill Golf & Country Club in Carrigaline, County Cork.
