Profits up 60% at Bridge 1859

Profits were up 59% at The Bridge 1859 pub in Ballsbridge to €855,801 in the year to the 28th February 2018 from €539,437 the previous year for the popular hostelry’s five directors comprising publican Noel Anderson and rugby players Rob Kearney, Jamie Heaslip, Sean O’Brien & Dave Kearney.

Staff numbers at The Bridge rose by four during the year to 28 including five in management, six full-timers and 17 part-timers.

Total staff remuneration costs (excluding those of directors) were up 14% to €661,910 from €579,684 the year before.

Directors’ remuneration was €40,186.
