Oval rounds up profits

Accumulated profits at Alazwar, the holding company for Charlie Chawke and Eddie Bohan’s pub The Oval in Dublin city centre were up 6% to €1.14 million in the year to 31st July according to a set of abridged financial statements lodged with the Companies Office.

The year before, accumulated profits were up 13% to €969,750 from €859,442.

Staff costs in the reported year totalled €379,864, up 6% on the previous year’s €357,715 figure.
