O’Malley Group to add Peter’s Pub to its portfolio

The pub was enlisted for sale a month ago and has now found a buyer

O’Malley Group has recently acquired Peter’s Pub, Dublin, as they look to expand their portfolio of landmark outlets, according to The Sunday Times.

Peter’s Pub is expected to sell for nearly €5 million.

Last month, the pub was listed for sale and held a guide price of over €4,250,000 and is expected to sell for nearly €5 million.

The pub, located on Grafton Street, has existed since the 1700s and has been run by owner, Enda Keogh for over 48 years.

The premises boasts an unrivalled position within the central core of Dublin 2 at the epicentre of the city’s focal point for retail, tourism, hospitality and commercial activity.

Already owning the Old Stand in Dublin city centre, Fagan’s in Drumcondra and the Yacht in Clontarf, Eamonn and Michael O’Malley have posted revenues of €16.4 million up to February 2024.

The pub is marketed as “trophy” licensed premises as it overlooks the intersection of Clarendon Market.
