New trade event to showcase Gold Star Awards

NOffLA members can enjoy a party to remember at the organisation's new trade event at Krystle nightclub in Dublin this month

SIPNOffLA has announced the first SIP Drinks Show, to be held in Krystle Night Club on Monday, 26 September 2011. In what promises to be a night not to be missed, the evening incorporates the Irish Wine Show Gold Star Awards for 2011-2012.

Kicking off with wine, beers and spirits tasting from 6pm, this is followed by a reception and the announcement of the Gold Star Awards at 9pm. A late barbeque is scheduled for 10pm, allowing an opportunity to celebrate the evening’s winners and a chance for NOffLA members to catch up with colleagues and suppliers.

NOffLA’s associate members will pull out all the stops to provide tasting opportunities for the very best of their beer, wines and spirits. NOffLA members can let their hair down to combine a little research for the Christmas market with an evening on the town. It has to be the ultimate opportunity to improve your business while having a great night out. You will have the chance to taste from an incredible selection, including some great new vintages, so it is the perfect place to meet new suppliers and deal with existing ones.

Those attending the event will also be amongst the first to taste the winners of the Irish Wine Show Gold Star Awards. Winning a “Gold Star Award” is a distinctive accolade for the featured wines and also provides a strong marketing platform – particularly in the all-important pre-Christmas selling period.

Commenting on the evening’s setting, NOffLA chairperson, Evelyn Jones, regards the evening as a great combination of a night’s entertainment and celebration. She also admits that the evening provides “a good opportunity for all of us that are too old to get into Krystle normally, to get in on this particular occasion!”
