For the serious whiskey drinker, Boann Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey P.X. Cask showcases the Drogheda distillery’s distinctive approach to Ireland’s traditional whiskey style. Made with locally grown malted and unmalted barley, oats and rye, the 47% ABV whiskey is initially matured in Oloroso sherry hogsheads before being finished in rare vintage Pedro Ximénez Solera casks, some made from chestnut. The result is a rich, decadent whiskey with raisins and figs on the nose and notes of honey, dark chocolate, caramel and spice.

For something a little different, 1848 Apple Brandy has been awarded the title of ‘World’s Best Apple Brandy’ for three consecutive years. The spirit brings Ireland and France together combining Calvados from Château du Breuil in Normandy with Boann’s own triple-distilled Irish apple brandy, matured in Bourbon barrels. The 42% ABV spirit offers aromas of apple blossom, fresh apple, citrus and vanilla, followed by flavours of marmalade, Tarte Tatin, honey and warming spice. Its name commemorates 1848, when the Irish tricolour was presented to Thomas Francis Meagher by French supporters of the Irish nationalist movement.
