Nathan – Coke’s top Signature Server

Nathan Evans from Mary’s Bar, Magherafelt, won the trip of a lifetime to The World of Coca-Cola in Atlanta, when he won The Coca-Cola Signature Serve Grand Final which took place last Wednesday night in Opium nightclub on Dublin’s Camden Street.

Nathan displayed an enhanced routine from his regional heat where his ‘Signature Serve’ championed winners in Ireland from boxing to rugby to his Coca-Cola performance. He also came first in the speed round at the start of the night showcasing his bartending skills.

The contestants have been battling it out since early 2014 with a training programme in their own outlets followed up by mystery shops and regional heats in Dublin, Galway, Cork and Belfast to select the finalists who competed in the grand final on Wednesday.

On the night the audience were treated to chemistry lessons inspired by John Pemberton incorporating flavour fusions, sword routines, baking-inspired action and a rap performance like no other.

The final took place as the company celebrates 100 years of the iconic Contour Bottle. The bottle concept answered a brief that called for the packaging to be highly distinctive, recognised by touch alone and identifiable even in the dark. Featuring a sensuous, curvaceous silhouette like no other, the classic glass bottle combines the ultimate blend of form and function.
