Make hay for music

Bacardi B-Live arena returns to Electric Picnic in 2008, with more cocktails and beats than you could shake a stick at

The Bacardi B-Live arena returned for this year’s Electric Picnic, drawing an eclectic mix of music through collaborations of world class DJs, musicians, live vocalists and percussionists. Big names performing over the weekend included world class performer, mixer and DJ, Tom Middleton, electro rocker Krafty Kuts and BBC London DJ, promoter and pioneer, Norman Jay.

Mixing skills weren’t just confined to the decks however, as the Bacardi B-Live bartenders demonstrated serving up the classic Bacardi Mojito as well as all the latest and most refreshing cocktails all weekend. In keeping with the Latin soul of Bicardi, the B-Live arena kept revellers dancing with super drumbeats. Percussionists who successfully master the art are few and far between, but the B-Live rhythm-king extraordinaire, Basil BlackIIBasic, is undoubtedly at the top of his game. Basil’s beats were a mainstay throughout the festival weekend in the Bacardi B-Live Arena.
