Long Hall expecting €1.4m from FBD
Long Hall Lounge Bars witnessed a 17% drop in accumulated profits to just over €1 million in the year to 31st of October 2021 according to its unaudited abridged financial statements.

But the famous South Great George’s Street pub in Dublin has added onto this an expected €1.4 million settlement from FBD under a Public House Business Interruption insurance policy which it took out for consequential loss of profits arising from government restrictions placed on public houses following the Covid-19 outbreak in March 2020.
As a result, a figure of €2.28 million is set against accumulated profits giving the company a 92% increase in same.
The number of staff (including the directors Marcus & Dearbhla Houlihan) dropped during the year from nine to four.
