Good Friday closing – not a NOffLA issue

NOffLA has taken a “fairly detached” attitude to the Good Friday opening hours debate.

“The members don’t have a view on that,’ commented NOffLA Chairman Gary O’Donovan to Drinks Industry Ireland, “It’s one of only two days in the year that members have off. And Holy Thursday is one of the biggest days of the year for us.

“We’ve more pressing problems in the industry right now than this,” he continued, “The LVA and the VFI went for it and good luck to them, but for NOffLA members we’ve much bigger fish to fry.”
