Ahascragh Distillery launches new logo ahead of 2027 whiskey release

Ahascragh Distillery unveils a new Griffin logo combining the family crests of its founders and its connection to Galway

Ahascragh Distillery has unveiled the new Ahascragh Distillery logo, a symbol rooted in family, place and the shared vision behind the distillery.

The contemporary golden eagle logo will remain the logo of the Clan Colla series of premium whiskies

At the heart of its new identity are two powerful emblems: the lion and the golden eagle, drawn from our founders’ family crests and combined to form a Griffin.

Intertwined within the letter “A” (representing Ahascragh), they honour the two families whose story comes together in Ahascragh, home to the many brands produced at our distillery in Galway, Ireland.

The contemporary golden eagle logo will remain the logo of the Clan Colla series of premium whiskies.

Michelle McAllister, founder of Ahascragh Distillery, said, “Two family crests, one shared legacy.

“This new logo brings a new chapter of strength, heritage and values of both families intertwined with a symbol of unity that honours where we come from and represents the future we are building together.”
