Goat in profit

With profits standing at €47,000, accumulated profits were up 2.3% to €2.1 million in the year to 31st March 2017 at Charlie Chawke's Charjon Investments from €2.0 million the previous year.

The company behind his Goat Grill in Goatstown, South County Dublin, lodged an abridged financial statement with the Companies Office which saw costs for its 70 staff (including the two directors Charlie and his wife Bernice) rise 12% from €1.47 million in 2016 to €1.64 million in the year to April 2017.

Directors’ remuneration was €231,959, down from €247,965 the previous year.
