Bulmers Light announces new TV sponsorship
Bulmers Light announced a new TV sponsorship, Style Wars ‘styled in association with Bulmers Light’, that began broadcasting on TV3 from 29 June. Produced by Toto Productions, the show sees 10 contestants compete in fashion-based challenges that will result in weekly eliminations. The judging panel features leading lights in Irish fashion, namely international Irish fashion designer, Peter O’Brien, fashion business woman and former model, Caprice Bourret and Ian Galvin, guru of the high street and Aurora chairman. Angela Woods, head of design faculty, NCAD, is guiding the candidates through all the rigorous tasks.
Marketing manager of Bulmers Light, Orlaith Fortune, said: “Style Wars is the perfect fit for Bulmers Light. Since launch in 2003, Bulmers Light has been associated with style and fashion and has worked with the Limerick School of Art and Design; DCU Fashion Show; DIT Fashion Show and is currently working with the Style Bitches as they bring Style to Light on the Bulmers Light Facebook page. It is the only low calorie cider on the Irish market and has proved hugely appealing amongst fashion-conscious audiences.”
Pat Kiely, commercial director, TV3 added: “Bulmers Light has already demonstrated a strong commitment to fashion and design in Ireland so we are really pleased to have such a great sponsor on board. Style Wars with Bulmers Light is one of our programme highlights for the summer and is yet another new home production on TV3. Anybody with even a passing interest in fashion will not want to miss a shot as the battle commences!”
Viewers can enjoy the style battle for themselves by tuning into TV3 each Tuesday at 8pm, and 3e each Wednesday at 9pm, across the summer.
