Bord Bia’s Thinking House – June opening

Bord Bia will open a major market research unit at its Lower Mount Street HQ this June.

The Thinking House will offer Research & Development facilities to new business startups in the food and drinks industry.

“The concept of the Thinking House is to help food and drinks companies build strong brands using marketing insight to drive success,” Bord Bia’s Director of Consumer Insight Helen King told Drinks Industry Ireland.

The drinks industry forms no small part of this project as a lot of Bord Bia’s focus has been on the indigenous developing Irish Whiskey distilleries and drinks brands of late.

The 7,000 sq ft premises will offer indigenous export companies, international buyers and third level institutions access to Bord Bia’s own reaserach as well as that of other intelligence companies such as Mintel and Kantar Worldpanel.
