Bavaria puts Mickey Rourke up for election

Bavaria rebranded this month and as part of this a TV, outdoor and radio campaign was launched using Hollywood actor Mickey Rourke.

The brand launched a campaign to elect Mickey Rourke in the General Election and he was seen on billboards across the country with the ‘Vote No 1’ message. He also features in the new Bavaria TV ad that started airing on the 19th of February. A campaign website was set up on Bavaria.ie to promote the manifesto and people visiting the site could vote for Mickey and be in with the  chance to win a trip to New York with flights and accommodation at The Waldorf Astoria hotel where the TV ad was filmed. Bavaria is imported to Ireland by the Gleeson Group.
