Bank’s profits up again
College Inns, the holding company for David Chawke’s The Bank pub on Dublin’s Dame Street, saw profits grow 29% from €1.37 million to €1.76 million in the year to the 30th April 2017.
During the previous financial year, profits were up 50%. In the prior year to April 30th 2015 profits grew 36% to €909,500 from 666,700.
In an abridged unaudited financial statement lodged with the Companies Office two more bar and kitchen staff joined the company during the year with College Inns spending €1.25 million in payroll costs (up 11% on the previous year’s €1.12m) for its staff of 40 including one manager, while directors’ remuneration rose 18% to €84,141 from €71,469.
