4 pubs served with Closure Orders

Closure Orders were served on four pubs last month by Environmental Health Officers from the Health Service Executive for breaches of food safety legislation.

Two of the pubs concerned were the Abbey Tavern on The Square, Galway and the Fuschsia House & Gables Bar (restaurant) in Dundalk Road, Ardee, County Louth.

A Closure Order on the preparing and serving of foods at The Larches Bar in Finny, Claremorris, County Mayo, was also served as was one on the supply of food from the kitchen at the TJ O’Toole pub in Tourmjakeady, County Mayo.

In total, Seven Closure Orders and one Prohibition Order were served on food establishments.
