Turnover up at Telfer

Turnover was up 3% to €8.1 million at Telfer Ltd, Declan O’Regan’s pub, restaurant and hotel business which includes Hogan’s Bar, Drury Buildings and L’Gueuleton restaurant just off Dublin’s South Great George’s Street.

According to Telfer’s accounts for the year to 31st May 2017 lodged with the CRO recently, pre-tax profits were also up by 3% to €1 million from the previous year’s figure of €973,151.

The company’s Operating Profits level-pegged at around €1.2 million.

But despite reducing the number of staff by three to 95, staff costs rose slightly from €2.48 million to €2.50 million.

Remuneration for the three directors, Declan O’Regan, Maeve O’Meara and Jacob KoshyKalaparampil, increased to €114,400 from €104,000 the previous year.
