The consumer-driven shift to Table Ordering

As Irish hospitality finally emerges from the pandemic many Irish hospitality businesses have dramatically changed the way they operate in order to reopen. This, coupled with staffing issues, means that businesses require a solution to manage these challenges.

Digital Table Ordering through QR codes is one such solution.

This acceleration of digital transformation in the hospitality industry has many operational and staff benefits.

It’s being gladly welcomed by consumers. A recent pub-goers survey carried out by flipdish and Censuswide found that the vast majority (80%) of pub-goers that have used digital tools to order food and drinks want to keep using them in the long term.

In addition, over half (55%) would actually miss ordering drinks via an app if it stopped.

“We’re the leading provider of ordering technology for hospitality in Europe,” says flipdish co-founder James McCarthy in explaining why the flipdish Table Ordering system is a worthwhile investment, “Our focus on effortless user experience results in increased conversion rates which means more revenue for our customers.”
