PreviewLive helps pubs promote sport and drives customers into their premises as it features all the latest live sports listings from Sky and other broadcasters, with a live fixture calendar detailing all the events available to the licensee.
Sky recently surveyed current PreviewLive users in the UK to find that 95 per cent of respondents agreed that it helps them plan ahead while 37 per cent said they found the fixtures section to be ‘extremely useful’ or ‘very useful’.
An advanced search facility makes searching for relevant fixtures effortless, allowing customers to search fixtures by sport type, channel, team and date range.
PreviewLive also provides a comprehensive guide for licensees to make the most of live sports events, giving top tips on marketing and promotion – all with the aim of helping licensees drive footfall, claims the company.
In addition, users will be able to create their own merchandise materials to promote these events or order discounted POS from the PreviewLive shop.
A competitions page also gives licensees the opportunity to win great prizes.
Customers logging on will be able to access the latest news from the trade through live feeds plus the latest sports information from Sky Sports News. The website will also feature video content from the PubChannel online.
“PreviewLive provides customers with a one-stop shop,” explained Rosalind Riceman, Communications Manager for Sky, “For instance a bar that has a big football following can create posters with football images as well as populate it with forthcoming football fixtures of their choice.”
In support of PreviewLive’s launch in Ireland and to encourage licensees across the country to register, a ‘Love Sport this February with PreviewLive’ competition is running on the website throughout February.
