SIP 2011

NOffLA members from across the country gathered for the first SIP Drinks Show. Attendees were amongst the first to taste the winners of the Irish Wine Show Gold Star Awards. Winning a “Gold Star Award” is a distinctive accolade for the featured wines and also provides a strong marketing platform – particularly in the all-important pre-Christmas selling period.

NOffLA’s associate members have pulled out all the stops to provide tasting opportunities for the very best of their beer, wines and spirits. The partnership between NOffLA and its associate members continues to be an important factor in the survival of many of those in the independent off-trade during the recession. This partnership has proved its worth in the past and will form the basis of the recovery of the trade when economic conditions improve.
