Pre-tax profits up at Molloy Holdings

Despite a slight fall in turnover from €20.28 million to €19.97 million in the year to 31st January 2017 the Molloy Holdings group of pubs and off-licences declared a pre-tax profit of €606,026, up from the previous year’s €105,301 figure.

Operating profit at the Group rose from €17,576 to €746,624 while staff numbers increased from 122 to 128 with the addition of six bar, off-licence and catering staff.

Staff costs rose 14.6% overall to €3.54 million from €3.1 million the year previously.

Directors’ remuneration also rose from €257,154 to €262,252 during the year.
