Profits up at William Grant & Sons

Group turnover at William Grant & Sons was £1.2 billion for the year to 31st December 2017 with post-tax profits of £250 million, up 12.6%.

During the year, William Grant & Sons opened its new grain distillery and bottling plant at Tullamore, creating a home for the world’s second-largest Irish whiskey brand Tullamore Dew.

In 2017, William Grant & Sons was once again named Distiller of the Year by the International Spirits Challenge.

In all, the company has now received Distiller of the Year from either the International Wine & Spirits Competition or the International Spirits Challenge 12 times in the last 13 years.
