O’Donoghue’s €38k post-tax profit
O'Donoghue's of Merrion Row reported post-tax profits of €37,955 or only 8.8% of the previous year's figure, leading to an accumulated profit figure of €1.96 million in the year to the 30th of June 2020.

O’Donoghue’s was closed for over a quarter of its financial year due to the Covid Lockdown.
According to the company’s Abridged Unaudited Financial Statements, at €1,961,283, its accumulated profit figure for the year was just €4,495 more than the previous year for the pub’s directors Oliver & Marie Barden.
Employee numbers remained constant at 20 while the Directors’ remuneration for the year fell to €128,967 from €154,698.
The famous Dublin pub was closed for over a quarter of its financial year due to the Covid Lockdown.
