New appointments in Coca-Cola HBC Ireland and Northern Ireland

Coca-Cola HBC Ireland and Northern Ireland has appointed Marcel Martin as its new General Manager for the Ireland and Northern Ireland operations.

Coca-Cola HBC Ireland and Northern Ireland has appointed

. Marcel joined the Coke business in his native Romania in 1992 and held a number of key senior roles there before being appointed General Manager in Lasi in 1995. Subsequently, he held the position of General Manager in Novosibirsk, Russia, in 1997, for the entire Siberian operations in 1998, Ukraine in November 2000 and Nigeria in 2004, before returning to the Ukraine for a second term as Country General Manager for four years. In his previous roles, Marcel led a dramatic change in Key Account and Supply Chain capability while actively driving greater employee engagement, customer service levels and overall customer satisfaction.  The company has also made new internal appointments to its commercial team. Johnny Weir has been appointed Sales Director Ireland and Northern Ireland. Johnny has 18 years’ experience in the Commercial Department and will provide leadership to the Sales function, growing the business by building productive customer relationships and leading the market in executional excellence. David Sharkey has been appointed Customer Director Ireland and Northern Ireland. Responsible for growing Coca-Cola HBC’s business through leadership of the Customer Account team (who work closely in partnership with all major customers), David joined the business in April 2004 and previously held roles as National Field Sales Manager and National Account Manager for the Supermarket channel. Damian Tracey has been appointed National Field Sales Manager Ireland and Northern Ireland. Since joining the company in 1992, Damian has held numerous sales roles, most recently as Regional Sales Manager for Munster. Damian will be responsible for managing the entire Field Sales team in Ireland and Northern Ireland, driving sales and focusing on improving customer relations.
