The Bar Convent Berlin has been one of the most important international events for bars and the spirits industry for the past 12 years, attracting more than 15,000 visitors from 86 different countries to test new creations, do business, generate knowledge or simply meet their friends in the global community.
The competition is open to professional cocktail bartenders on the island of Ireland and runs for the whole of this month.
Entries should be sent by DM to @madmarchharepoitin on Instagram or facebook and should include the cocktail’s name, ingredients and a photo of the serve with a bottle of MMH and a brief explanation of the inspiration. Marks will be awarded for name, presentation and the inspiration to ‘March to your Own.’
Three finalists will be chosen to compete in front of an expert panel and the winner will showcase the winning cocktail live at the inaugural Dublin Drinks Mixer in the Conference Centre on April 18th. The winning cocktail will also be featured at the Mad March Hare 2020 Poitín Party and will be showcased online and on MMH social channels.
