Concerns are mounting over the safety of Prime energy. The popular energy drink, which was co-founded by Logan Paul and KSI, took the global beverage market by storm when it launched. However, recent revelations about its high caffeine content have sparked anxiety among the public.

With 200mg of caffeine per can, Prime contains the equivalent caffeine content of two cans of Red Bull or six cans of Coke, The Drinks Business has revealed.

US Senator Chuck Schumer has urged the FDA to investigate Prime’s potential health risks, in a move that has led to a 2400% surge in Google searches for “Prime drink caffeine” and a 1900% surge in searchers for “Prime drink side effects”.

Data commissioned by wellness experts at Zevo Health revealed that within just 24 hours, searches for “Prime drink caffeine content” increased by 3233%.

Meanwhile, searches for “Prime drink side effects” and “Prime drink harmful” increased by 1900% and 566% within the same 24-hour period.

People were actively seeking information on the possible side effects associated with consuming the energy drink. Notably, searches related to the FDA also gained substantial traction, with “Prime drink investigation” and “FDA Prime drink” searches rising by 809% and 1566%, respectively.
