€3.9m pre-tax profit for The Temple Bar

The company behind the Temple Bar pub and associated enterprises in Dublin’s Temple Bar district declared pre-tax profits of €3.9 million for the year to 31st October 2014 compared to just €69,647 the previous year.

Temple Inns Ltd declared a gross profit including other operating income of €7.8 million in 2014, down from 2013’s €7.98 million in connection with its pub, retail merchandise and clothing shop next door as well as other commercial/investment property interests.

The company reduced staff costs by 28%s from €2.97 million to €2.13 million during the year with directors Tom and Jackie Cleary taking just €326,819 in 2014 where €1.16 million had been taken the year previously.
