Corona celebrates 4th Fastnet Festival

Barry & Fitzwilliam celebrated its fourth year as sponsor of the Corona Fastnet Short Film Festival and according to Managing Director Michael Barry, “It’s a key event to go to this Summer and a great fit for Corona Extra!".

“We’re delighted to support the people of Schull and Cork in such initiatives,” he added, “We are proud to stand by the Festival in these challenging times for the arts and we have rolled out a strong communications strategy to firmly put Schull on the map as the home of short film.”

The Festival launch event – the Cinematographer’s Party at The Bodega in Cork – welcomed film lovers and filmmakers to this year’s Festival which has enjoyed a steady growth in scale and reputation as has the Corona Extra brand which has gone from strength-to-strength over the years. More specifically the introduction of the Corona Light brand to the Barry and Fitzwilliam portfolio last February marked the first time that the light beer (only 99 calories per bottle) was exported beyond the US and Mexico.
