Centra winners

Reidy’s Centra in Foynes was awarded the Edward Dillon Centra Off-Licence of the Year Award in the ‘Community and City Centre Convenience’ category while Coleman’s Centra in Millstreet, Cork, won the Edward Dillon Centra Wine Store of the Year in the same category.

 

 

Sponsored by Edward Dillon & Co, the Centra Off-Licence and Wine Store of the Year Awards 2010/2011 took place in The Grand Hotel, Malahide, County Dublin and the final line-up included outlets from Limerick, Cork, Dublin, Donegal, Sligo, Cavan, Galway, Clare and Leitrim.

McClafferty’s Centra in Gortahork, Donegal and Ryan’s Centra in Ennis, County Clare, celebrated winning the Off-Licence of the Year and Wine Store of the Year respectively in the ‘Provincial Supermarkets, Community Markets and Stand-alone Off-Licence’ Category.

The winning stores have been rewarded with a trip to Australia where they’ll have the opportunity to visit the vineyards of Wolf Blass, Rosemount and Penfolds. During this trip they’ll experience first-hand innovative wine-making processes, meet with the winemakers, visit the vineyards and sample the latest vintages.

The main aim of the these awards is to assist and support Centra store owners maximise the sales and profit potential of their off-licence or wine store.

This is Edward Dillon & Companay’s first year sponsoring the Centra Off-Licence and Wine Store of the Year Awards.
