CATEX serves up new-look show
Attended by over 10,000 foodservice and hospitality industry professionals, the flagship event, organised by the Irish Foodservice Suppliers Alliance, will again be staged at the RDS Simmonscourt, Dublin 4, from 21st to 23rd February.
In an increasingly competitive market new companies have joined the 200-strong bill to sit alongside the popular competitions and feature areas including the Contract Caterers’ Culinary Challenge and the Chef’s Choice Pavilion.
“CATEX has retained its place as the biggest, most comprehensive trade show for the foodservice sector – always building and evolving,” stated IFSA Chairman and Industrial and Commercial Sales Executive with Calor Gas Larry Smith.

Maureen Gahan, Foodservice Specialist with Bord Bia also pointed out, “The ‘out of home’ market is now worth €6.37bn and this is forecast to grow to almost €6.9bn by 2018.
