Carlsberg ‘Crate Escape’ – a first in Ireland

‘The Crate Escape’, Carlsberg’s new global TV commercial, aired here in Ireland before appearing in any other market.

 The 30-, 50-, 80- and 90-second humorous takes on the film ‘The Great Escape’ are now being rolled out across Carlsberg’s global markets having kicked off in Ireland, Sweden and Belgium.

Speaking about the new ad Senior Brand Manager for Carlsberg Karen Murphy said that she was delighted to be chosen as the first market to air the commercial which reinforces the Carlsberg brand message and offers some light-hearted entertainment.

To coincide with the launch Carlsberg is running a themed competition on the Carlsberg Ireland Facebook page to give away a weekend break to either Barcelona or Berlin for four mates.
