Bulmers rolled out the campaign across pubs nationwide, giving away hundreds of thousands of free Pint Bottles.
To enter, consumers purchased a Pint Bottle of Bulmers and visited Bulmers.ie or texted Bulmers to 51500 along with a unique promo code available on the back of the bottle. Entrants could see there and then if they’ve won, receiving a message instantly to claim their free pint bottle.
‘It was an action-packed Summer for the pubs with sport, social events, music and comedy and a whopper of a promotion that’ll have been a real driver of sales,” said Belinda Kelly, Marketing Manager for Bulmers, in rolling out the promotion, “An initiative like this allowed us to give back to our loyal customers. Without them we wouldn’t be the number one cider in Ireland.”
Bulmers accounts for 86% of on-trade cider sales and the latest promotion, which ran until September, was supported by impactful POS.
The promotion extended to the trade too with an opportunity to win a €1,000 One4All voucher from Bulmers.
Bulmers also launched Bulmers Forbidden Fruit over the June Bank Holiday weekend and the Bulmers Lounge returned to the most chilled of all the festivals, Body&Soul.
Bulmers continued with Bulmers Live at Leopardstown.
