Brockmans Botanical Gin launched in Ireland
With a new-style 40% ABV gin of complex flavours, it’s intensely smooth with a soft, fruity character using distilled botanicals from around the world.
The flavour profile is one of complexity layered with botanicals including Italian juniper berries from Tuscany providing pine and lavender notes, angelica from Saxony for earthier notes, coriander seeds from Bulgaria for spicy sage and citrus tones with the oil from Spanish almonds uniting all ingredients for a smooth gin finish.
A splash of Spanish lemon and orange peel add zesty citrus overtones; however it’s the unique blend of blueberries that gives Brockmans its most distinctive flavour.
Perfect for the festive season, Brockmans is one of the few gins that can be enjoyed neat over ice and when mixed with a tonic or ginger ale, the taste remains distinctive and robust.
Brockmans works particularly well in gin-based cocktails such as a Martini with a dash of vermouth and a twist of lime; when mixed with a combination of berries and citrus, those with a penchant for gin will enjoy a Brockmans Bramble.
“When it comes to gin, consumers are increasingly looking for interesting flavours and something a bit different and Brockmans certainly delivers on taste,” said Brockmans’ Brand Manager in Ireland Heather McAree, “Brockmans isn’t a traditional gin, it’s distinctive, shakes well with mixers and is perfect for creating fantastic cocktails with both depth and complexity.”
Brockmans is distilled in Oldbury in the heart of England’s Black Country and is made in small batches by the Master Distiller.
