Ashford Castle
Ashford Castle in Mayo is hosting the third season of Meet the Winemakers, a weekend featuring distinguished wines and winemakers, including Alex Van Beek from Chateau Giscours and Lorenzo Pasquini from Chateau d’Yquem. The event was created by Ashford Castle in partnership with James Miley of The Vineyard, distributors of artisan and fine wines.

Cost: Starting from €1,625 per person sharing

Friday, 2 February
- Dinner with Alex Van Beek featuring Chateau Giscours and Caiarossa in Cullen’s at the Cottage. Billiards Room experience with Alex and wine pairing
Saturday, 3 February
- Breakfast followed by a masterclass and tasting with Alex Van Beek in the Ardilaun Suite
- Light lunch with more wines
- Evening includes a drinks reception in the castle’s wine cellars and a six-course tasting menu in the Connaught room, featuring dishes paired with Chateau d’Yquem
Knockranny House Hotel
Embark on a wine-filled journey at Knockranny House Hotel, Westport’s premier four-star establishment, on February 23 – 24, 2024. This weekend features curated tastings, talks, and dinner, will be hosted by renowned wine merchants and makers, Sinéad and Liam Cabot.
