Temple Bar profits up 3%
Pre-tax profits at The Temple Bar pub in Dublin’s Temple Bar tourist district grew 3.4% to €3.4 million from €3.3 million in the year to 31st October 2017 according to an abridged financial statement from Temple Inns Ltd.
At €3.81 million, Operating Profits ran on par with last year while gross profits “including other operating income” was up 7.3% from €10.4 million to €11.1 million. The pub’s income is enhanced by having its own merchandise shop next to the outlet.
Staff costs (salaries and pensions) totalled €3.43 million, up 51% on the previous year’s €2.27 million. This figure includes a salary/pension contribution remuneration of €324,055 for the two directors Tom and Jackie Cleary, down 4% from €337,197 the previous year.
