Telfer sees rise in profits again

Pre-tax profits were up again by 33% to €1.3 million in the year to 31st May 2018 from €1.0 million the previous year at Telfer Ltd, the holding company behind Dublin hospitality outlets such as Hogan’s pub, L’Gueuleton restaurant and Kelly’s on South Great George’s Street in Dublin’s city centre.

 

Turnover was also up again, by 5% to €8.6 million from the previous year’s €8.1 million rendering a rise in Operating Profits of 25% to €1.5 million from €1.2 million.

The company managed to more or less contain staff costs during the year for its 95 staff (including directors). Together, the 84 ‘sales staff’ and 11 managers cost the company €2.49 million.

Directors’ remuneration again grew, this time by nearly 50%, to €169,022 from €114,400.

Declan O’Reagan is a director of Telfer along with Maeve O’Meara and Jacob Koshy Kalaparampil.
