Sales volumes up 0.9% in January

Bar sales volumes rose 0.9% last January compared to Janaury 2014 according to provisional CSO figures with values increasing 1.4%.

 

 

However bar sales volumes were down in 1.5% in January when compared with December sales figures while values were down 1.4%.

Final figures for December 2014 indicate sales volumes in bars level-pegging with December 2013 while values rose 0.3%.

Compared to the previous month, November, bar sales volumes were down by 1.0% and by 0.9% in value.

Over the three-month period November 2014 to January 2015 bar sales volumes showed a 1.1% increase on the same sales period last year and a 1.5% increase in values.

When compared to the previous three-month period August to October 2014 sales volumes showed an increase of 0.9% and a rise in value of 0.3%.
