SABA’s Karim wins Goslings Rum Swizzle competition

Using Gosling's Black Seal Rum and a wide variety of other ingredients nine finalists competed for the top prize of a trip to Bermuda in the recent ‘Gosling’s Rum Swizzle’ competition.

And where better to host the competition than the cocktail bar at 37 Dawson Street where the competitors wooed the judges with their banter, technical ability and cocktails.

Congratulations, then, to First Prize Winner Karim Mehdi of SABA, to Darren Geraghty of the Candlelight Bar and Conor Meyers representing The Exchequer, placed second and third respectively.

Bermudan rum-maker Gosling sent its Brand Director Andrew Holmes to Dublin for the competition final.

Upstairs@KinaraKitchen, VCC, The Blind Pig and MVP Bare also competed.
