Revenue seize herbal cannabis worth €1,560,000 at Dublin Airport

Revenue officers seized €1.56m worth of herbal cannabis at Dublin Airport after a detection by drug dog Lusai

Revenue officers recently seized 78kg of herbal cannabis at Dublin Airport following an indication from drug detector dog Lusai.

The cannabis was vacuumed and concealed in boxes labelled as “Car Seats”.

The cannabis, valued at approximately €1,560,000, originated in Asia and was destined for an address in Dublin.

Investigations are ongoing.

This seizure is part of Revenue’s ongoing operations targeting the importation of illegal drugs.
