The countdown is on as the prestigious Waterford Festival of Food returns to Dungarvan and surrounds next week, with a packed programme running from Friday, 25 to Sunday, 27 April 2025.
A highlight of Ireland’s food calendar, the festival brings together local producers, top chefs, and passionate food lovers for a weekend of flavour and community.

The Waterford Festival of Food takes place from Friday, 25 to Sunday, 27 April.
This year’s festival comes with a side of music curated by none other than chef and long-time festival supporter Paul Flynn of The Tannery.
To help set the tone for this year’s festival weekend has curated the Waterford Festival of Food Playlist—a handpicked collection of tracks inspired by the energy of the festival, the magic of great food, and the joy of sharing meals with friends.
With 31 songs and a runtime of 1 hour 45 minutes, it’s a soundtrack suited for cooking, feasting, or simply soaking up the festival vibes.
Now in its 16th year, Waterford Festival of Food is a celebration of the region’s food.
From markets and cooking demos to farm visits, and family fun, this year’s event is all about sustainability, and the people behind the plate.
Visitors can explore the food market in Dungarvan town centre, sit down to a tasting menu in one of the region’s restaurants, or take a food trail across Waterford’s landscapes.
Paul Flynn’s playlist is available to listen here on Spotify.
