Origin Green and Sustainable Enterprise Skillnet launch
Origin Green, Ireland’s national food and drink sustainability programme, has joined forces with Sustainable Enterprise Skillnet to launch a new accredited training initiative: Pathways to Supply Chain Resilience to support businesses as they contend with mounting supply chain pressures.

The programme will deliver insights into risk monitoring, strategic planning, and data-driven decision making
Set to begin in early October, this eight-week, accredited programme is designed to support experienced supply chain professionals in the Irish food and drink industry as they navigate increasing levels of uncertainty from climate-related disruptions to geopolitical instability.
With a blend of on-demand digital modules and in-person expert-led workshops, participants will gain the tools to strengthen their organisation’s strategic supply chain resilience and ultimately future-proof their operations.
Run by Sustainable Enterprise Skillnet, the programme will deliver insights into risk monitoring, strategic planning, and data-driven decision making, which will enable improved decision making and long-term resilience.
Upon successful completion, participants will earn certification and a digital badge from the Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM).
“Supply chain resilience is now a key driver of competitiveness and sustainability,” said Martin Hofler, senior sustainability manager, Bord Bia.
“This programme empowers supply chain leaders in the Irish food and drink sector to proactively manage risk, adapt to disruption, and position themselves for long-term success on the global stage”, he concluded.
The pathways to Supply Chain Resilience programme reflects Origin Green’s commitment to enhancing the global reputation of Irish food and drink.
