New packaging for Devils Bit

The award-winning Devils Bit Mountain Cider has unveiled new packaging across all canned and bottled product to coincide with the brand celebrating its 21st anniversary this year.

The vibrant new amber and black packaging features an illustration of the legendary Devils Bit Mountain in the heart of County Tipperary. The packaging also features the tagline: Refreshing To The Core’.

Devils Bit Mountain Cider has no artificial sweeteners, colours or added flavouring – just “pure Irish cider created using the perfect combination of time, care and effort”.

Devils Bit Mountain Cider is produced by Adams Cider Company, owned and operated by the Cooney family who have a long tradition in the Irish drinks industry.

Irish-grown apples from the Cooney family orchards in Tipperary and Meath are used in the production of the cider and a cultured yeast is added before being left to ferment for eight weeks, then matured for several months with regular samples taken to check for quality and purity. After chilling, filtering, carbonating and packaging, it’s finally ready to enjoy.

Devils Bit Mountain Cider has won various awards over the years including Blas na hEireann Silver 2014, Great Taste Awards Gold 2013, British Bottlers Institute Gold medals and – more recently – two awards from the New York International Beer Competition 2016 including Best Irish Cider Producer and a Silver Medal in the cider category.
