Net revenues up at Heineken’s European division

Heineken nv's European net revenues grew 3% organically to €4.216 billion in the first half of 2021 according to its recently-published half-year results.

European beer volumes were up 3.2% organically but European on-trade volumes were down “by a low-single digit for the first half-year despite the easing of restrictions during the second quarter,” reports Heineken, adding, “Compared to 2019, on-trade volume was down circa 50%, with the second quarter in the low-thirties”.

To date Heineken nv has registered a net global profit for 2021 of €1.034 million, up from 2020’s €297 million net loss, but organic net profit was €896 million, up 320.3%.

Net revenues showed organic growth of 14.1% to €9.971 billion while consolidated beer volume witnessed organic growth of 9.6% with the Heineken brand up in volume by 19.6%, reports the Dutch brewer.
