Miriam Mooney joins ABFI

Miriam Mooney has joined the team at the Alcohol Beverage Federation of Ireland as Senior Executive, replacing Aoife Keane who has joined Irish Distillers – Pernod Ricard as External & Corporate Communications Manager.

Miriam will be responsible for running three category associations: the Irish Whiskey Association, Irish Spirits Association & Irish Wine Association and will provide support to ABFI on the implementation of its strategy.

A practicing Barrister for the past few years, Miriam had been legal adviser to the Irish Whiskey Association for the last eight or nine months and has worked closely with Aoife on a lot of IWA issues as well as helping implement ABFI strategy.
